Recovery Dharma Family and Friend Sangha meetings are for anyone seeking support because they have someone in their life who may be struggling with substance use or process addictions. This person does not need to be in recovery or treatment for you to participate. This person may no longer be with you, but left an imprint within you.
Family Support | Supporting One Another
Who: Family, Friends, and Allies
What: This is an open meeting where we come together to meditate and talk about supporting the people in our lives (including ourselves) who may be struggling with deep suffering, addiction and/or disordered thinking. This person may or may not be in recovery. We will discuss – and practice – the importance of connection, community, and compassion.
There will be a 15-20 minute guided meditation, Dharma reading from 16G, and time for conversation, discussion, and questions. This is a trauma informed Recovery Dharma affinity group.
This meeting is 90 minutes, however, you are welcome to leave at anytime. We do request that during introductions you come on camera or microphone to introduce yourself, and you can go right back off camera. We ask this for the safety of the room.

CRAFT Family Sangha
Who: Spouses, Partners, Family
What: This Recovery Dharma CRAFT Family Sangha integrates Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) to provide a unique blend of mindfulness-based recovery and evidence-based support for families. Designed for those impacted by a loved one’s addictive behaviors, meetings are led by CRAFT-trained and certified volunteers. Research shows that CRAFT significantly improves treatment engagement compared to traditional approaches like Al-Anon or the Johnson Intervention.
Rooted in compassion and collective wisdom, this Sangha offers a supportive space for healing. Through CRAFT’s adaptable tools—such as effective communication, positive reinforcement, and self-care— members are empowered to navigate their loved one’s recovery with clarity, resilience, and compassion on the path to healing.
There will be introductions, Recovery Dharma readings, a 10 minute guided meditation, interactive CRAFT readings and worksheets aligned with the Buddhist Heart Practices.
This meeting is 75 minutes, however, you are welcome to leave at anytime. We do request that during introductions you come on camera or microphone to introduce yourself and We ask this for the safety of the room.

Inquiry Meeting | Circle of Family Support | Supporting Each Other
Who: Families and Friends
What: This is a closed meeting where we come together to meditate, journal, and discuss specific questions to help all of us with our circumstances regarding the people in our lives (including ourselves) who may be struggling with deep suffering, addiction and/or disordered thinking. We will discuss – and practice – the importance of connection, community, and compassion.
There will be a 10 minute quiet sit, followed by journaling about weekly questions that are relevant to our subject, and time for conversation, discussion, and questions. This is a trauma informed Recovery Dharma affinity group.
